Shad’s Office~As many of you know, I’ve always been vocal when it comes to issues that impact this community. In many cases, others share the same concerns, but choose not to speak on them. While FGR has just reopened, it’s important we establish where we stand from day one.
To the Club Penguin Armies Org: Fort Ghost Recon formally denounces the Multilogging Tournament, and this statement will outline our reasoning.
The recent announcement of a Multilogging Tournament by the CPA Org is not just questionable, but it goes directly against everything Club Penguin Armies were built on.Let’s be clear for anyone who may not understand:
What is multilogging?
Multilogging is when one person controls multiple penguin accounts at the same time to artificially boost numbers in a battle or event. It creates a false sense of size, strength, and activity. It is not skill, it is not strategy, and it is not leadership. This is manipulation at it’s finest.
For years Club Penguin Armies has stood firmly against multilogging. Not because it’s inconvenient, but because it undermines fairness, legitimacy, and the spirit of competition.
Even in the original days of Club Penguin, multilogging was against the rules. It was never intended to be part of the experience. The foundation of this community has always been built on real players, real numbers, and real effort. So now we have to ask:
Why create a tournament centered around something that has always been against the rules?
This isn’t innovation. This isn’t evolution. This is regression.
A tournament like this doesn’t just “allow” multilogging….it encourages it.
It teaches newer players that breaking foundational rules is acceptable.
It shows armies that inflated numbers matter more than real community building.
And most importantly, it opens the door for widespread abuse moving forward.
Because once you normalize multilogging in one space, you cannot contain it.
You will see:
- More players creating multiple accounts
- More armies relying on artificial numbers
- More distrust in every future battle and event
At that point, what are we even competing for?
Numbers won’t mean anything. Wins won’t mean anything.
And the credibility of the entire community takes a hit.
The CPA community has survived for years because of its standards, its structure, and its commitment to fair play.
This tournament goes against all of that.
We should be building the future, not tearing down the foundation.
If we truly care about the longevity of Club Penguin Armies, then we need to stand firm on what matters:
Real people. Real battles. Real legacy.
Anything else isn’t worth defending.
So, to the Club Penguin Armies, I pose the following:
If this tournament proceeds, how will its impact be managed moving forward? What safeguards will be in place to prevent improper multilogging in future battles? Additionally, what systems will exist to identify and verify instances of multilogging should they arise?
These are critical questions that must be addressed proactively before the consequences surface after the event concludes.
